We all know those nights. You get back from a late REV class, and don't have anything prepared for dinner. Normally, you result to take out or eating something unhealthy that won't make you feel great.
Cue these super easy and healthy Trader Joe's meals! At REV, we love Trader Joe's because it's affordable, they have tons of healthy options, and their stores are overflowing with quick and delicious meals to grab and go!
Because the name of the game is to save time, we scoured the internet for you and found some Trader Joe's weeknight winning combinations!
First up, this 3-ingredient dish from The Kitchn looks absolutely delicious! Chicken thighs, hummus, and cauliflower tabbouleh make up the entire meal. Talk about easy!
Eat This, Not That has even gotten on the TJ's train! They did an entire post on Trader Joe's meals. The easiest one, by far, is using their Frozen Organic Superfood Pilaf. Top it off with an egg or a chicken sausage and you're good to go. They have other great recipe ideas as well, so check out this article!
Unless you have been living under a rock, you know about Trader Joe's Cauliflower Gnocchi. It can be made with just about anything, but at REV, our favorite is to pan-fry it, add some sort of protein, and tons of veggies! We found a great article which teaches you how to prepare these little nuggets of gold in 3 ways.
Frozen turkey bolognese, frozen brown rice and peppers? Yes please! Pair this winning combo with a simple side salad and you're good to go! Omit the cheese and just add more seasonings for an even healthier option. Full recipe here!
Last but definitely not least, Trader Joe's has recently been getting into the pre-packaged salad game. These packs come with salad, toppings, and dressing! There are a handful to choose from, but the Sesame Crunch Chopped Salad kit looks delicious! Eat it as is for a vegan/ vegetarian option, or pan fry some chicken and you've got yourself a delicious meal!
So whatever you're craving, you can find a quick and healthy option within the aisles of Trader Joe's. Say goodbye to breakfast for dinner (every night) or grabbing fast food on crazy weeknights. Thanks TJ's!
