WE asked. YOU answered! The #REVtribe submitted stories on how REV inspired them to step out of their comfort zones. Turns out, the #REVtribe is what makes REV so freaking badass. Tune in each Monday as we share one of YOUR stories in hopes to inspire the entire tribe to dig a little deeper and most of all to give you the courage to live the life you love!

As we sweat, we become. We become: One Team. One Heart. One Tribe.

Working out has been a major part of my adult life. For the past six or so years, I've been pretty regimented in my workouts - I've gotten up early to get to the gym or worked out after work. I had a personal trainer for a couple years and even worked out at another boutique gym that was outrageously priced, but never truly felt 'good' about myself or my workouts. I never realized that going into a workout without a positive mindset or having instructors without positive mindsets was holding me back from hitting any 'goals'.

Once REV opened in Brewers Hill I finally made the decision to quit the monthly gym membership and stop going to that other overpriced boutique gym; all because of what I found when I walked through the doors.

Each REV instructor pushes me, but not in a way that I've been pushed before; they push me with positivity. Whether it's Kelly telling me not to give up, Sean telling me to reset and give what's left, Sam screaming YASS as we're approaching the peak of a hill, Jaime repeating how I've got this, or Jami walking through the room pumping me up; there's a vibe that fills that dark cycle room.

Maybe it was just that 2017 was one of the most stressful years of my life thus far because I lost my job, I started planning a wedding, I was picked to be a juror on a murder trial, and I made the decision to buy a house, but something about REV has kept me leveled, grounded and sane. Sometimes I would start a class with a crazed mind on the verge of tears, but through the class I would let that shit go. Every class finishes with a sense that whatever else life wants to throw at me - I got this. It hasn't only been my escape, it's been my therapy. Being a part of the #REVtribe has helped me to reset my mindset and realize that I can handle more than I ever thought I could, inside the studio or outside in the world; all with the power of positivity and a whole lot of sweat.
